Last night CBS in Dallas reported a teenager was taking to the hospital is now recovering from almost drowning at a football camp at the university, read here.

A teenager attending a football camp nearly drowned Thursday night at the University of North Texas in Denton. The incident happened at about 9:00 p.m. at the school’s physical education center pool.

A spokesman for the university said that the teen was spotted at the bottom of the swimming pool and quickly pulled out. CPR was started and the teen was taken to Denton Regional Hospital. He was then transported via air ambulance to Medical City Hospital in Dallas. His current condition is not known.

According to school official Buddy Price, there were five lifeguards on duty at the time of the near-drowning, with between 100 and 125 kids in the water.

I am sure Anthony and maybe even Jay Ratliff will be making a visit to the hospital to visit the teen.

Hope all goes well in recovery. These things happen when you have so many kids in attendance. Thank God they got him in time to save him and get him to the hospital.

The reports of 100-125 kids in the pool is not accurate!!!??? I was there as a father volunteer at the time this happened. There was approximately 30-35 kids in the pool area and only 15-20 in the diving pool where he was pulled from. FYI?
