These five guys are on my radar for tonight
This is the last chance for some of the 'bubble guys' to make the final cut. We already know that the starters probably won't even dress for this game so it's time for the backups to step up.
Here's five guys I am keep a close watch on tonight.
Danny Amendola - With Isaiah Stanback and Miles Austin going down with injuries the opportunity for Amendola to make his move is front and center tonight. If he can play smart football and show the Cowboys he can help this team with his special teams play then I really think he's the frontrunner for the 6th WR spot.
Mike Jefferson - He stepped up last week and he's bigger and faster than Amendola. Can he do it again this week? If he shows consistency and catches just about everything that comes his way he may push Amendola off the roster. Austin isn't coming back for a few weeks and Stanback's situation is still up in the air so the Cowboys are still looking for someone to man that 4th WR, at least for the next weeks.
Mike Jenkins - Of course he's a lock to make the roster, but I would like to see him come up with a few plays tonight. I don't know how accurate this is, but it seems like Scandrick has done a little more to impress the coaches than Jenkins has over the last few games. Let's go Jenkins!
Orlando Scandrick - As I just mentioned he is really stepping it up this preseason. Well tonight he's going to get his shot at showing us if he can man the kick return job. If he can show Wade that he's at least average at doing that job then I think Wade will let him have that job to open up the season. As a CB we have already seen him do some good things and I expect that to continue.
Pat McQuistan - He isn't a Left Tackle and I don't think the Cowboys were all that impressed with him as a Right Tackle either. So now with Kyle Kosier down with a foot injury he's going to get a shot starting at Left Guard tonight. I have a feeling that if McQ plays poorly then he's goner. To add a little more pressure on him the Cowboys just made a trade with Denver today for Montrae Holland. Time to bring your 'A' game McQ or else.

Speaking of Mike Jenkins, with the emergence of Olando Scandrick and reinstate of Adam Jones. I'm starting
to think maybe just maybe the Cowboys taken DeSean Jackson.

My Bad!
Meant to say with the emergence of Orlando Scandrick and the reinstatement of Adam Jones, maybe DeSean Jackson would have been better pick than Jenkins. Just a little hindsite!

Well Jenkins didn't show up. He looked bad returning kicks and has showed me nothing. We drafted a gunner on special teams/get back coach with a first round pick. The DC version of slash. Is it just me or does Bobby Carpenter make you sick? Ideal size and speed, but plays like he doesn't want to mess up his hair. What a PUNK! What in the F*** were we thinking playing Hurd in this game. Not only that, lets run multiple plays to him so he can get hurt. I guess that happens when a wide out get sucked up by a backup LB.
TO, Crayton, Wes Wannbe, and Can't Get Right. Our active WR's.
As for the positives, I like Scandrick. Deon Anderson is back! (Babe, please stop with the nicknames) Zach Thomas looks like me playing LB on Madden. Spears has made a few plays. We have a dynamic punt returner and corner in PACMAN. Tashard Choice, kid has got heart and it shows. Our slouchy, rook TE has talent, learn the O please.
