Cowboys make a deal with Denver for a Guard

Looks like the Cowboys aren't too impressed with the backup Guards that are supposed to be filling in for Kyle Kosier over the next few weeks, read here.

Concerned about their depth at guard after losing starter Kyle Kosier with a foot injury, the Cowboys acquired Montrae Holland, a Jefferson, Texas, native from Denver for a fifth-round pick in 2010 on Thursday.

Holland, 6-2, 322 pounds, started 16 games for the Broncos last year and has started 46 of the 68 games he has played in his career. He played for New Orleans from 2003-06.

I would still think we see Pat McQuistan and Joe Berger playing at Left Guard tonight, but with the experience Holland brings to the table they may also be playing for their roster spots.

This is an interesting development because neither of them plays Center so if you ask me one of them is definitely not making the 53-man roster.
