Jason Witten has the right 'state of mind' people!
We all know that losing preseason games shouldn't be something that causes panic, but seeing your first team units playing poorly for about a half of football should at least cause some concern.
I am thinking just like Jason Witten these days, read here.
Plain and simple, I would much rather be talking about how well the Cowboys starters played last Saturday than to be talking about how sloppy they looked.
Wouldn't you?
Wouldn't it have been nice if Romo did hit Hurd on that long TD pass? What if Pacman had caught that INT and taken it back to the house? You're telling me you wouldn't have liked to see someone sack Jay Cutler while he was shredding the defense?
Of course it's not the end of the world and yes there were plenty of good things in that game that can be looked at from an individual standpoint, but overall the team doesn't look sharp or confident right now.

Talking with the players today, it's clear that they know it's only the preseason. But just by listening to some, you can tell the players are starting to think about ironing out the kinks and getting down to serious business.
"It's not in panic mode by no means," tight end Jason Witten said. "But I'd like to see us play well this week.
"For anybody that's kind of putting it off, I understand it's preseason. But there has to be some urgency here and we have to get those corrections made."
