Zach Thomas voted smartest player by NFL coaches

For years now we have all marveled at how Zach Thomas has been such a great player even though he's not the biggest linebacker in the NFL. Maybe it's because he's so smart, read here.

I know I have said it a million times already, but with Thomas and Bradie James manning the middle this defense we should really be improved in 2008. Half the battle of playing defense is having a good feel for what the opposing offense is trying to do against you. These two are going to be able to make a lot of presnap reads which could lead to some big plays such as turnovers, sacks and tackles for losses.
