NFL Live talks Cowboys, Newman sticks to his comments

Here's Ed Werder from the Cowboys OTA's talking Pacman and Roy...

I would love to see Pacman get into some of these OTA's and then next months minicamps, but I really don't see it happening because Goodell is playing it safe here.

Terence Newman talked about his recent comments on Roy Williams, read here.

"I stick by it," Newman said.

Newman made sure everyone knew that the "deer in the headlights" thing was "at times" rather than "all the time."

"It's hard to find a DB who hasn't had a bad day," Newman said. "That's all I'm saying. It happens. The same thing was said to me my second year. I didn't say anything about it. I didn't play very well. At times, I looked like a deer in the headlights. I mean, that was Bill Parcells' comments. I'm not going to argue, I was bad."

"You can't make everybody happy, and not everybody's in this locker room," Newman said. "If you're in this locker room and you understand what's going on, that's one thing. Outside people can think whatever they want. It doesn't really matter to us."

Is there any wonder why Cowboys fans love Newman and are tired of Roy Williams?

One takes criticism and uses it as motivation to better his game. The other whines and cries about the media and the fans not having enough 'knowledge' of the game to know what they are talking about when criticizing him.

Give me Terence Newman over Roy Williams on any given Sunday!
