Greg Ellis always seems to find a way to get his foot back in his mouth when the offseason comes around. Now he goes on Sirius radio and starts 'talking out of school' about some comments made to him last summer by Roy Williams..

 

I am so tired of some of these guys complaining about the defensive scheme. It's football and they are being paid big money to go out and do a job. No one seemed to like the Parcells 34, and now we find out Roy was telling people last summer that he didn't like the role he was being asked to play in the Phillips 34 either.
 
I love the way Ellis tries to put some spin on it too, 'maybe this year they will adjust some things'. Give me a break already. The guy isn't as good as we all thought he was and I have had enough of all this catering to Roy Williams needs in hopes of getting him to play up to his salary. If he comes out and stinks it up again this season then ship him off to some other team and let them deal with this mental case.
 
As for Ellis, he has to learn to shut up during the offseason. These comments are only going to create some tension now between him, Roy and of course the Cowboys coaching staff. The drama with this defense just never seems to end.
