Bradie James not giddy about Pacman trade
Bradie Jame is considered a team leader in Dallas so I wonder how his recent comments about Pacman coming aboard will play out, read here.
Thoughts on PacMan?
I don't know, honestly. We have a great group of guys and the thing is, we're all accountable to each other. On the optimistic side, he's got a lot of talent. But you hope you don't push the balance too far. I've never met the guy so I can't say how he would fit in.
Who are the leaders on that team to help him?
That's a big misconception, that someone has to lead everyone. This ain't junior high ball. We're all grown men and paid professionals. But we are accountable to each other. The leaders I'd say are me -- God gave me the ability to play middle linebacker. And in the secondary we have good leaders in Ken Hamlin and Terence Newman.
Sounds like Bradie will deal with it more than he is endorsing the trade if I have to read into his comments. I know most NFL players usually go along with 'we can make sure he stays on track while he's on our team' mentality, but it's nice to see someone actually on the Cowboys with some doubt about whether the trade is a good idea. Most fans are guarded and that's the natural and real reaction that should be coming from everyone.
Sam Hurd and Quincy Butler go just the opposite when they get to talking about Pacman coming to Dallas, read here.
Let's me just say his and I am not really trying to be a jerk or anything. Are we even sure these two guys will be on the Cowboys next season? There are going to be some rookie WR's and CB's coming in from the draft looking to move these two off the roster so I think I am going to care a tad bit more about what Bradie thinks of the trade. Now I will say that these guys are probably just trying to be supportive of Pacman so it's all good.
