If I am running the Cowboys I would wish Keith Davis luck and tell him to take whatever deal Miami offers when he visits them, read here, because there is not future for him in Dallas.

The Safety spots on this team need some new blood in my opinion. I am all for locking up Ken Hamlin to a long term deal. Roy Williams, I understand hoping and praying he finds his game in 2008, but if not then this will be his last year as a Cowboy. Pat Watkins and Courtney Brown are young guys who can probably do just as good a job as Davis did as the backups.

Davis' real value is on special teams. But last season he wasn't even all that special and he missed a few key tackles while covering punts and kicks, 'cough cough, Giants playoff game'. He did have a bum shoulder for a good amount of time and if that's the reason he played slipped then he should have been on the bench.

I think Parcells will find a way to make him a Miami Dolphin within a few days and I am very ok with that happening.
