Remember when..

We used to think this kid was gonna be the next Emmitt Smith and everyone wanted his autograph. He tore up the league at the end of rookie season and Jerry and Bill thought they hit the jackpot with Thomas Jones' little brother.

Now he is traveling around the country looking for a job, read here, after losing his job to Marion Barber III.

What happened? Was he just lucky in those games where he put up big numbers? Did he actually regress because of Bill Parcells trying to get him to run like a robot?

I just feel kinda bad that his days as a Dallas Cowboy are numbered, but I am glad Jerry is not resigning him. There are RB's in the draft that can help this offense by being more of a dynamic player who can gain maybe break a few tackles and create some excitement.
