Why any NFL player wants to sign with the Raiders is beyond me, but Javon Walker did just that today, read here.

I guess the answer to above question is money. There was no way the Cowboys were even contemplating giving Walker any sort of contract close to the 6 year, $55 mil the Raiders handed this guy. I am in shock about hearing $16 mil of that is guaranteed.

About three weeks ago I was reading about him needing microfracture surgery and now he's getting $27 mil within the first three seasons? Al Davis has lost his mind people.

The Raiders are overpaying all over the place and I am serious when I say that someone needs to check and see if Davis has the mental capacity to run that franchise any longer. Walker's eyes probably bulged out of his head when he heard the offer.

Davis has given out these deals recently..

Since last Thursday, the Raiders have doled out more than $144 million in contracts to defensive tackle Tommy Kelly ($50.1 million), safety Gibril Wilson ($39 million), and Walker ($55 million).

These are players that should be getting minimal interest in FA, not blockbuster deals. I feel very sorry for Raiders fans these days.
